Sero Plan Inphonics Order Questions

Hey Guys...

Just placed an ordered through the SERO website (aka Inphonics) for my Treo 700wx and it was shipped the next day.

I have a couple questions for those who signed up for SERO through the Inphonics website.

1. Should I be charged sales tax for being a CA resident?

2. Sprint Approved my order but I had to call Inphonics for some reason so they can complete my order. They told me a $100 deposit is required (I barely started building my credit up several months ago). I still didnt understand why since it said Sprint had already approved my order. Inphonics charged me another $100 on my credit card. Can they actually do that? I figure sprint would bill me the $100

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

The $100 deposit is based on credit, pay all your bills on time and you'll get your money back in a year. Miss any payments and you're looking at 2 years till you get your money back.
Inphonic dinged me with $150. I am a college student with no credit history.
