Any RAZR owner out there, can you answer me this question. If you receive a smiley face as punctuation [ i.e. :-) ]in your text message, will it automatically replace it with a smiley face emoticon icon?

Thanks.

Not sure - I would guess "no" b/c you can't create a message using smileys - so I would assume that they are not part of the font set built into the razr/krazr/etc... otherwise I would think that smileys would be one of the options when you are composing a message. Hopefully, I will be shown that I am wrong... :-)

Can anyone confirm this for me?

Thanks

Not that I can tell. I sent a text message to my self using ":)" and it came out as ": )". (space between the ":" and the ")" added to illustrate what I sent.)

Frankly, I'm as happy without. Phones have limited memory and wasting it on some on some silly ass smiley face emoticon is just that ... a waste of memory. Unless it could be stored in and used from the SD card.
