I am trying to help a co-worker get a better plan from Sprint. Right now he has a single line that he pays $50 a month for and has 600 minutes or so. He doesn't need that many minutes but wants to include his wife on the plan. Ideally he would like something for $50 a month with two lines and mobile to mobile included. He'd also like to get a couple free phones out of it (he actually would like the Sanyo 7000 so I can't imagine that would be too tough) since his current phone is an ancient Sanyo 4900.
Is there any kind of low end $50 family plan out there? A lot of minutes isn't a big deal, mainly the low price and mobile to mobile since 50% of his calls are to and from his wife.

Yes and if he is a credit union member, he can get 10% off his bill, bring him to about $50 per month. If he is renewing his plan he can ask for a loyalty credit too, and I'm sure he can get at least 5-10% off his bill also.

What about going through Sprint and getting 2 SERO plans? 2 x 30 = 60 minus 10% cu m'ship = 54. Plus u get soooo much more if u have the evdo phones!

Thanks for your help guys but my coworker really has very low needs. He is tempted by Tmobiles $50 for 1000 shared minutes plan that includes mobile to mobile. He doesn't need a lot of minutes or vision services. He was hoping to get something similar to that from retentions price wise. The idea of getting the current $60 550 min plan might not be bad with a 10% loyalty discount and a couple free phones. I don't think he'd have too much trouble getting it since he actually just wants to get two Sanyo 7000's which are virtually free phones anyway. I guess I was just hoping to see if anyone knew of a $40 or $50 shared minute plan they might offer only through retention.
