Does anyone know if there is a code to get free nights/weekends starting at 6pm? I have two friends that have been offered it through retention but the Sprint rep I spoke with said she did not know the code. Thanks!

You can try emailing ecare and asking them if you can have nights and weekends starting at 6:00 pm.

The old code was Z 6PM OFFPK $10 CR
considering it's 20 dollars now that code more than likely won't work. Also, since it's a "z" code, only retentions can add it....... or so I've been told.

Only retention can put on the code yes.. and it's the same code but with $20 instead of $10.. still under retention plans.

Excuse my ignorance, what good is it for a customer to have a code such as "Z 6PM OFFPK $10 CR"? Would they be able to call a service rep and tell them "I have a code to add to my account?"
Please enlighten. Thanks! :read1:

The only way it's useful is if the rep seriously cant find the code. If you talked to a primary CS who found the code but couldnt apply it and they told you the code, you could call retentions and inquire if you were eligible for free nights at 6.
Generally, the codes are useless outside of sprint UNLESS the rep wants to add it for you and actually cant find the code.

z codes can only be applied by retentions though... Not sure if business customer service can do it as well, but all mine were applied via retentions and BCS always tells me they can't do anything with those codes except remove them.

How is it that only retentions can add this code, when I was able to email ecare and get it added for free?

its technically a "Z" code that is only supposed to be applied by "retentions." Having said that, some supervisors have the ability to add "Z" codes also and usually the eCare rep will say "I spoke to my supervisor and in consideration of your long standing relation with us, i have made that option free."
