Hi, I've perused the thread on ways to get retention, so first off, thanks to everyone for posting all the advice.
I've been a sprint customer for 4 years and my contract is up. I'm willing to renew for 2 years, and want to take advantage of a retention plan.
We are currently on a Fair and Flex Family plan, for $80 800 min with 3 lines and have never missed or been late on a payment.
My wife has also started a job that I just fond out offers a 21% discount on Sprint plans.
Is it possible to sign up for a retention plan now, and then have the account transferred to her name so that we can take advantage of her workplace discount? Would they cancel the retention in that case? Would we have to wait a month or two before doing that?
We are looking at the $90 1400 minute family plan now with nights at 7pm. I've read mixed results on getting a 5-10% discount with retention and then an additional company discount. Any thoughts?
Free texting sounds like a given . . . what about free vision on one phone? Should I even try to get an M1/A900/PDA Phone for website prices or lower?
I know it matters who you get on the phone and it can take several tries, just looking for a little guidance and to see if I am being too greedy here.
Thanks in advance for the help.
