I had a motorola C290 from SERO plan. It disappointed us again and again. Short battery life, creak voice, very hot after 20 minutes talk.
I had just joined Sprint SERO from July, not qualified for the upgrade program discount, and not in the 30 days grace period when I can argue with retention department.
I know there is a buyback program, this C290 can have $15 credit for trade. Then what's the best possible plan to upgrade it? I only need a basic phone, longer battery life, better voice quality, bluetooth is good but not must. I believe I can't get the promotion price for new subscribers, then what kind of price will I get? For example, there are several free phones for new customer, how much will them cost for current customers?
Thank you!

Be nice, say you like Sprint you dont want to lose service with Sprint but the phone you have just dosen't work for you. Mention the word cancel and you'll get straight to the retention dept. or say cancel in the IVR (automated sysem) I'll usually give $100 discount off phone. If you don't qualify for $75 or $150 rebate

I called in on Friday to find out how much how much my early termination fee was and got no questions as to why I was asking about that. I wasn't trying to get anything but I was a little surprised at the lack of follow-up questions.
