Hello all,
Long time lurker, recent member. Well I've finally decided to post and seek the help of the forums.
Here is my problem:
My plan currently consists of $1000 45.99 Free & Clear Areawide
w/ AAP $20 - $20 credit
N/W minutes 6PM - $5 - $5 credit
500 text messages - $8 - $8 credit
EPP - $6
Employer discount 25%
Loyalty 5%
After taxes - Approx. $45
Well my problem is I would like to have a nationwide type of plan. When I called they told me the only plan I would be able to do is the FF 89.99 that would match my current plan. I was also told that I would lose all my credits minus the employer and loyalty. Is this right? Wouldn't there be some way that I could keep my discounts and jump to a different plan? Any advice/tips would help.

Wrong, way wrong. Call *2, say "cancel service" and tell the rep your not intrested in some fair and flexable plan at almost twice the costs and certainly not a plan that you lose your loyalty and employer discounts. Ask for this as your "new" base plan:
$50/1000 Free and Clear nationwide plan, Leave the AAP alone, the 6pm nights alone, keep the 500 text messages or bump it up to unlimited for $8, keep the TEP, Keep the discounts. Your net bill will go up a few bucks.
If they claim that plan doesnt exist, ask if they are the cancelation department. Explain that you can have nationwide coverage on t-mobile for $70 including 1000 minutes on 2 phones with extra lines at $9.99 and your just asking for the same plan with sprint.
I know the $50/1000 plan exists, and they are still selling it. If you really want to boost where you can call, add the $5 roaming option on (assuming its available in your area) and be able to use sprints towers nationwide plus those of verizon, alltel, us cellular and others.
Account services / retentions / cancelations can make that plan happen for you.

Thanks Dan!
I going to call them up and tell them what you told me? Hopefully it works! A side question: Is it still feasible to be able to get FIMF added to my plan considering what I already have?
