Hello all,

I'm considering getting a samsung a900m with one of the SERO plans that includes unlimited vision/web browsing. I'm not planning on getting a PAM plan (I only tether occasionally).

Has anyone used this phone to tether their laptop/pda with NAI disabled, yet still gotten a big data bill?

If you did get a data bill despite disabling NAI, how much data were you using?

Thanks,

You know you cant actually tether without PAM and doing so involves a risk your willing to take. Just because others may not have gotten a huge bill, don't let that encourage you to attempt it.

Basically what I'm saying is don't use others experiences to make your decision. Sprint likely has a secret number of megs of data that they consider a powervision phone will be able to use each month from the phone itself. They can also see what sites (or IP addresses) your accessing and likely if the data is going to the phones internal browser or an external source. They may not care as long as your under the secret limit what device the data is going to today and start charging after the 1st of the year.

Tether without PAM at your own risk!
