i have a free and clear plan and recently got a 3rd line for $9.99/Mo. instead of the usual $19.99/Mo. it is for my Dad whose health has not been so good recently.my Mom also has the 2nd AAP free. if my parents use 40 min per month in total, that would be alot.the lines are for emergency situations or to speak with each other which is pcs to pcs.i see others have been able to get a 3rd. AAP at no charge due to health issues and wanted to know if it was plausible for me to ask regarding having my 3rd. aap monthly charge reduced since i was not aware that sometimes an exception is made due to health issues.thanks.

I Hear ya Dan. i Dont want to be greedy.speaking about my signature, is it a negative thing to have alot of discounts? in a short while my account will be changed to a business account due to my CU discount. i thought a person gets discounts due to loyalty etc.is it just that there is a cap on discounts?

Generally a company will have a calculator on plan cost / discounts and cost to actually provide service. If your plan value after discounts goes under the determined value, you wont get any more discounts.
Example: A 4 line plan (like I have) with 1000 shared mins may have a cost to provide service at $50/month. Sprint add's 20% for minimum profit ($10) and under no circumstances will you have it cost you less than $60 without an executive level authorization. The more features you add, the higher the cost to provide is and the higher the cost sprint will need.
Your discounts like free services or credits against a service fee are basically your loyalty discount. So if you get 10% off for CU, 10% off for loyalty and a credit for vision service your probably close to maxing out your credits / discounts. Sprint may treat $9.99 AAP's on Free and Clear as a 50% discount on that price also.
I know we have people on here with "25 lines" sharing "10,000 minutes" and get a bill for "$55/month" but they are the extreme exception. And yes I was exaggerating, but some on here do also :)

Im waiting on posts where "sprint paid me to carry their phone and gicves me a check each month to use it, and no i dont work for sprint"
I dunno whats worse, people who outright lie or those that demand "discounted plans" and then want everything else for free on top of it!

Dan,
That would be me, 10 lines. $60 a month... Some months I've recieved such a large credit multiple months in a roll around the time that they change the terms and conditions, and get out of contract ETF free, I cancel, collect the check, and reactivate.
And yes, I had a very very severe situation with Sprint... actually 2 in under a year. Offically my discount in the computer state 51% off my services, realsticlly, it's more like 90% off services.

We all know your situation............... We have people on here who are post anything and have no proof to back it up. I've seen your screen caps from a bill I believe :deal:

In my defense, I didn't demand anything from Sprint. I simply asked and they gave it to me. I saw what other people were asking for and so I figured I would give it a shot. It was completely up to them whether they wanted to honor my request or not. They did so I'm certainly not going to complain. I would still be with Sprint even if they didn't give me all of the free perks / discounts. I like Sprint. It is as simple as that.
