i was sent an email by Verizon for new services with them. I was just wondering out there if anybody thinks sprint will match this.

How much is the monthly service? I know that Verizon rapes its customers with fees and stuff. So what if they give you the phone for cheap, they make it up on the monthly service charges. Unless, you buy the phone and don't use any of the services, then you good!

Pretty wild that they'd give you an online discount of $250 plus a $150 mail-in rebate. They'd definitely need to rape you on charges, because they are losing their behinds on the phones.

well i told them what my plan was and they told me for the same it would only be about ten dollars more. but i think the phones will make up for it. so do you think sprint will match the phone deals

What is your current sprint contract? Has it expired? Some people have posted here about getting free or discounted treos, but that is not gonna happen on a $39 plan.
Personally I think you are better off with a lower monthly rate than the cheap phone. $10/mo = $240+tax over 2 year contract. So the phone would have to be $250 cheaper at verizon. Not to mention that sprint corp and loyalty discounts can reduce your monthly rate even more.

thats what i was thinking about also. so that is why im asking if sprint would match the prices on their phones. if they would i have no problem signing a new contract or anything. well if you can please let me know. it would greatly be appreciated.

I know verizon makes you pay for cables, headsets, and all that garbage.... I know like 5 people who wanted the chocolate because its cheap than when you get to the store you pay 100 bucks for everything the a920 gets for free.....

I think Sprint will match the prices. They matched my prices from Fry's and Best Buy, and that was over the phone, they couldn't even see the ad. It depends on how persuasive you are.

If you are activating a new line of service, they will match the price for you. If you just want to upgrade your phone, I seriously doubt they will.

Well in July they did for me. For not one phone, but 2 phones. I must have had them confused pretty badly. these were for upgrades and I used the $150/75 upgrade and even got rebates for both, bringing the cost to almost nothing. I wish you luck though.

If you are elibible for upgrade credits they may very well do it. But if you are in the middle of your contract, I don't think they will.

i can guarntee u they wont do that. no money for them cheap plan not enough revenue on your end. verizon makes there phones cheap cause they rape u for there plans and fees. act fee like 60$ ridicilous
