Hi guys, I need some help from you guys with retention. I have been with Sprint for over 6 years now and never call them to ask anything. I just renewed my 2 years contract and get the new M1. I tried emailing ecare but they never do anything for me. Here's my current plan, tell me your suggestions.

Free and Flexible Family Plan
800 Anytime minutes for $70
$7 for Free Nights and Weekends
No Vision or Text messaging
3 phone on plan
I average about $100/mo on my plan after some text messages.

Now I feel like I am getting a raw deal out of this. I called Customer Service but seems like they never get to transfer me to Retention as suggested. What can I do?

Call back and tell them this is the worst deal ever and you want a better deal or to cancel service

Why are you paying for Nights/weekends? Is that after 6 or 7? and at least try to get a 10% discount. dont let them play you like that.

I had this plan for over two years already and during then, I had to pay $7 to get free nights and weekends at 7PM. I only have 5% discount on one line. That totally sucks!

Yeah...If you were out of contract before you renewed and got the M1 you still have 30 days to decide that you want to back out and cancel.

That plan is ridiculous...At least they could have given you 7 PM N&W at no charge for the next two years. As a longtime customer I would call back, get account services on the line, and explain that you are not happy with the monthly service charge that you pay and are wondering if that can be reduced at all before you start shopping for a new carrier. As long as you are a good customer that pays your bills ontime, account services should be able to help you out to some degree.

Here's what I got from Ecare, what do you guys think?

Dear XXXXX,

Thank you for contacting Sprint together with Nextel. I would be glad to assist you regarding the options.

I will ensure that this is resolved to your satisfaction.

We at Sprint do not only believe in making customers but we believe in building relationships as well.

Therefore looking at the account and your loyalty, I have made the following changes to the account:

- Made the 7:00 p.m. option free. You will not be charged for this option in future.

- Added Free Vision. The account will be charged $10.00 for the option however a credit of $10.00 will also be applied at the same time

- Added 10% loyalty discount for all the future invoices

All these changes require renewal of the agreement, however I have made these changes without renewing the agreement.

I was not able to add the 300 messages option for free. This option is available for a monthly service charge of $5.00.

If you wish to add the option to the account, please write back to us and we will be happy to make the necessary changes to the account.

I trust you have got the answer you were looking for. However, if you need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me again.

Thank you for contacting us. Have a great day.

Question: Dear ecare,
I have been a loyal and valued customer with Sprint for over 6 years now I just recently renewed my contract for two more years. I am currently paying average of $100/mo on my bill but I am not satisfied with my plan. I also have a business phone from work that's also with Sprint.
The reason that I want to email you today is that I feel like I am getting a raw deal on my plan and I want changes on my plan. Here's my suggestions:
1) I like to get Vision plan and perhaps 300 text messages for FREE.
2) Since Free Nights and Weekend starts at 7PM now, I want to receive that also and NOT charge $7 on my account.
3) A loyalty discount would be nice.
What can you offer me?

Thank you for your help. Have a Happy Holiday!
