Thought i would start a new thread, with all the pics we've gotten so far of the M1 in one spot.
I'll start with some new comparison pics I took then add all the rest of them. Please wait to reply until I've finished posting the pics in full. Thanks!!

after looking at all the pics the M1 doesn't seem big

Lol, ikandi, I was thinking the opposite. After looking at all those pics, CDMA phones look huge! Although the M1 is obviously not as huge as the 9k, it still looks like a brick. It doesn't, however, look like every other Sanyo phone for Sprint, which is nice. It looks pretty good.
I particularly enjoyed the photo of the m1 next to the pack of cigs. ;)

The M1 looks old to me. I may buy one but really want the Moto Q. I won't even think of the M1 if the reception is like the Katana. Right now my 8400 does everything the M1 does (I have a 1G miniSD in it). Nice pics.

I think there should have been a better hinge design, the hinge makes it look a little big

I think there should have been a better hinge design, the hinge makes it look a little bigYea that's what I don't like about it. I like the normal hinge design like the 8400. I also think I like the round directional pad like the 8400 instead of the square M1. Being the phone junkie that I am I still will probably try it out but I just hope that the camera quality is good because if it's not back she goes. lol

Thanks for the pics... it actually looks minuscule compared to the 5600! Still think the M610 is for me... if it ever gets here! Thanks again for the pics though!

Just talked to my "contact" in the D/FW tech division... Asked her if she has the M1 yet... she said they just got it into there cabinets and the techs were going thru them. But, after I asked her and some co-workers got one out and was playing with it. said it was big but a very very nice phone. great camera and screen size...SO....:fingers:

Does it have a 3.5mm headphone jack? I'd guess it's 2.5mm for standard headsets. =(

JE.Well at least the M1 has some kind of design to it. I think the 610 is to plain looking. I usually like the looks of a Samsung phone better then a Sanyo but I like how Sanyo's usually function better then Samsungs. What good is a phone if it always has a dead battery? I'm not really liking the M1 or the 610 design but who knows that might change when I see them in my hands. I think I'll wait and order my M1 after the first person recieves theres or I'll just might wait till Christmas.
