I woke up today and i opened the flip on my vm 4500. As soon as i open the flip, it says updating your phone settings. This has never happened to me. ANyone know what it is all about?

i wouldn't worry, it was some update from sprint...those usually in my exp. happen right after a phone swap, but sometimes outta the blue i've seen it too.

One more thing guys. When i put the phone into the recharger, it keeps going from the reahcarge to not recharge. Even a slight more in the recharger cable makes it turn the recharge off. Also when i try recharging with my phone off, it'll say recharge complete after a couple of hours. The second i turn it on, it was low battery please recharge. :/

that happens -- are you using the "pin" charger or the flat charger?

I'm using the pin charger. I can't even make it through the day with my battery these days. I make a 10 second call and my battery dies. :/

try getting a new battery --- and picking up a "flat" charger --- your charging port is bent / damaged (common problem), and your battery won't charge. and if you've been killing it all the time, it's not in a good condition.

What do you mean by killing it? Can i exchange my charger at a sprint store for one of the flat ones?

the type of battery most cell phones use can't take the abuse of being fully charged, and then dying.....then fully charged....then dying -- running these batteries down over time effects the length -- the 10 second thing is prob. because the phone hasn't been charging --- even when it says it has been.

Uh, not to state the obvious here, but is it Ready Link reseting itself?
