radioshack has some older phones still, but we never carried the 4930, or 8400 or 7500

i just went out to two sprint stores , bout 4 mom and pop shops, the kiosk in my neighborhood mall , and the mall radio shack, all within 5 miles...and nada! the search continues.......

ok called telesales and they said there is none...so im looking for a phone that has ready link and is gps capable ( telenav) are any current phones capable of that besides the 8400?

You still might be able to get the phone from customer service, best buy, radio shack or a sprint store. Customer service uses a different wharehouse location from the website. It goes both ways, sometimes you can't get a phone from customer service...but it may be available on line.

no, but sometimes retentions has some phones that may no longer be avalable online for sale. calling retentions to buy a phone shouldnt be what the department is there for, but if you want the deeply discounted phone that was being offered, retentions may still have a few that are available, or may offer you another phone at the same price "in appreciation for your relationship with us"
