I need help with my KRZR I just bought today, I cant seem to find what format this phone needs for its ringtone. I tried m4a, it plays but I cant assign it as a ringtone. I tried mp3 but it cant even play on my phone. so please help me out Thanks

Put an MP3 clip in the audio folder on the phone, not the memory card. This will work. You can do this via BT for sure... not sure about the USB connector yet.

The newest version of Motorola Phone Tools v4.3.6c (which has an update (11/08/06) that includes the Sprint KRZR K1m specifically!) works perfectly with the phone by Bluetooth for transferring mp3 or mid ringtones into the hidden ringtone folder and also for transferring mp3s to the memory card. The software can be found free for download from bittorrent sites, just remember to do the Motorola Live Update once you install the software to get the drivers for the KRZR. Awesome, Awesome!

ok , does anyone know how to enter music onto the krzr using the data cable, i have the driver and the computer recignizes the phone but not the micro sd , i have a card reader that i've been using , its just a pain in the ***** to take the card out every time to add music. I could enter music while the phone was plugged in by the data cable with my 9000 but so far not with this one. HELP GUYS .
