I have trouble receiving and sending sms from India with my sprint phone, but my cingular phone has no problem. Anyone know why?. I can't receive sms from India either. Eventhough messages are not receiving in Inda, I am getting charged for international sms. With cingular there is no problem, when I sent a sms to india i can get the reply in less than a minute. I called sprint customer care and they said it's the phone service in India that has the problem.So anyone knows what's the issue with sprint, please let me know

I had a similar issue...it works with certain carriers in india, but not all...
its kinda sporatic, and no one at sprint has a working solution, at least i didnt find one...

Although I never received a confirmation that my destination in India received my SMS message, I got charged for it anyway!

Maybe we are all getting charged for international SMS attempts. The same way we get charge for when we make calls and the timer starts when the ringer goes off rather than when the other person answers.
