Need Smartphone that can....

I am looking for a Smartphone that:
-Can replace my cell phone
-i can put my multimedia on w/ expandable memory (i need it to replace my broken iPod).
-has the basics of a normal smartphone (email, text, web browse, ect.)
- (optional) GPS


Any suggestions will help. My ideal price range is less than $500.

for less than 500 you might look at 6700 @ frys. however some people get annoyed when they have to make a call because the volume is not really loud but its ok. if you use bluetooth you won't have issues with volume. if you want to use it as mp3 get a 2 gb miniSD card. with the 6700 we get push mail, txt, and web browser, wifi, ect ect. its windows device. pretty much it does its job as a PDA.

YEap PPC6700 or Treo 700WX. BEst Option for now.

The 6700 SUCKS! Very buggy and terribly slow. It's an average PDA and a garbage phone. The 700wx is a better PDA and a much better phone.

Get the 700p or the 700wx. Sprint discontinued the 6700 for a reason.

As far as I know, the PPC-6700 is NOT discontinued. It's still up on Sprint's website and also still in stores.

The 6700 is EOL. Nothing new is coming and they're just selling off whatever is left sitting around. The 700wx is the WM5 king.

A 6800 is out there somewhere and may be coming to Sprint eventually. Until it does, though, it is Vaporware.... sigh. The pics make it look a lot like the 6700. It won't be enough to get me to give up my 700wx.

You can probably pick up a 700wx off ebay for around or less than $500.
