Hi,
I have found a lot of free sites that provide Midi (.mid) type ringers. I found a very simple way to upload these to the Samsung A900.
Here are the instructions
ASSUMPTION - You need to have vision subscription to receive messages and access the internet, or Sprint may charge you per message/download.
1. Download and save the MIDI (.mid) file on your computer.
2. Go to the free uploader on http://www.funformobile.com/pages/ringtone/uploadRingtone.php?nofile=1
3. Fill out all the information like CARRIER, PHONE NUMBER, the (.mid)file LOCATION for upload and choose a NAME for your ringer.
4. Press UPLOAD
This will result in your phone receiveing a text message/ Missed Alert.
On the Phone
1. Open the text message/missed alert
2. Click the OPTIONS button (... button on the top right corner)
3. Select SAVE, this will pop opne a small sub window
4. Select URL
5. This will show the URL of the (.mid) file you just uploaded
6. Click GO
7. Click CONTINUE DOWNLOAD
Once the download is completed the software will present you 3 options
LISTEN, SET AS and SHOP.
8. Select the SET AS option
Choose this option
9. This will pop open a new window from there you can select this to be set as a RINGER for your VOICE Call
10. NOTE if you just PRESS the END key on step 8. Then when you go to Assign you new ringer from the MENU->SETTINGS->SOUND->RINGER TYPE->Voice Calls
Select "MY CONTENT" and your new uploaded ringer is IN.
