I called *2, and told the guy there I wanted to use my phone as a modem on my laptop. He checked my plan, and then told me I had to change my power vision plan to a ultimate power vision, and that automaticly upped my unlimted text from $5 to $8.
Now as I read more and more. He lied to me. He specificly said I can use my phone as a primary connection with no charges. So far, I have no charges, but im paying more for my vision (I dont care about sprint tv), and im paying another $3 for textign when I shouldnt have to.
Will I get credited for this false statement he told me, or is this true and some people on here are miss informed.

If you don't have your previous deal in writing, a rec. phone conversation, or at least a notation on your account I can almost guarantee they will most likely assume you're the liar. Sucks, I know. Maybe you'll get lucky though.
Oh, I totally agree with you. I got my account messed up too. Royally nuked up with lots of doo doo!!! Fortunately, I complained and complained and eventually got a permanent 15% discount on my account for stupidity by Sprint!

You might be called a liar by some, but remember, there's other people out there who actually care about your problems/questions and are actually willing to help you as much as they can. I'm willing to bet that you will get this resolved and also get a credit/monthly discount off of your plan, or get free PAM or something along those lines. Dont give up...

Good to hear... See occasionally you get a good outcome on things like this.

How in the world did you get to speak to a supervisor? I'm always given some crap about "they're at lunch" or "I have no way of reaching him/her" or straight up "no, sorry" I'm not rude or anything and remain as professional as possible. Some tips would be appreciated.

Wow! If you request a supervisor, I would lose my job if I didnt find you one. We are encouraged to solve issues, and de-esclate if possible. As its no secret our calls are randomly graded, we fail the call for failing to escalate to a supervisor. In fact, failing a call in that fashion in my location is a trip to a managers office.
