Can I use my 8400 as an internet access point, via bluetooth? I would like to connect with my HX2710 IPAQ. Also what issues will I have, I have a $10 a month Vision plan. I also have two connection cards on my account but I use them on different machines.

I want to do this too. Tried it myself yesterday but must be doing soemthign wrong as I got no service! Seems I've seen threads fo users of other phones who've made it work.

Anyone?

I got it to work but if you do not have a phone as modem plan you are screwed. If it does not detect the plan it shuts off the connection. I am going to test it with a backup dialup account I have but I will only use that for a backup to the EVDO on the phone.

I tried that, it doesn't work. Looks like you and I both will need to get that expensive upgrade.
