For some odd reason I can't send text messages to other carriers using Sprint.com. I was able to do it in the past. Is anyone able to text non sprint users?

Can do it if you log into your Sprint account I believe.

I use the texting page of the carrier they have mostly. Or the one on here.

maybe the network is messed up. Or the crossover perhaps.

I would try their carrier's website and see if it goes through from there.

sprint has recently changed that part of their system. this has been happening to me as well, and i dont like it. I think they may have done this to gear you more toward using your phone for text messages. since the price on texting has gone through the roof. i sent them an email about it and i forgot what they said about it. it is quite annoying though. i send alot of texts, and i'll be dammed if im gonna type them all on the phone.

same here... i send alot of text. using a keyboard at work or home and logging into sprint.com was the fastest way to send text.

i've played with the text message sender on this site. its a long time to receive the message and it doesn't tell you who sent it. it shows up on my phone from "$email@soldier2.sprtintusers.com"

i tried to send text messages using the other carriers but you have to be a customer or send it to only thier customers.

i play text tag with a person from alltel and i am able to go to their site and send texts from me. there is a spot to put my phone number in. however, when a alltel person gets a text from a sprint person, it puts a extra 0 on the end of the phone number so the person knows that you sent it from the computer, but no biggie.
