Hey guys,
Just wanted to know if its my area or what but for is it normal for websites to take 30-50 seconds to fully load? Just want to make sure I'm getting proper service.
is there any way I can test it?

Load times for Vision can vary, depending upon signal strength, current network traffic and the content you're attempting to access. Your geographic location can have an effect as well. While Vision will never be as speedy as your desktop's broadband connection, the load times you reported don't seem too terribly slow.

i counted two seconds to load this page. EDIT: also my speeds are about half what they should be due to the fact that not all of the EVDO towers are up yet in my area.

2 seconds for this site? what settings do you have your phone on? did you do any upgrades? what phone are you using?
thanks.
I got the treo 700p and it takes like 10 seconds in fast mode to load and like 30+ in regular mode to load:(
I just want to make sure I'm not getting slow load times compared to everyone else. The signal seems strong from my location.
I probably ahve to go into a spritn store and find out from them as well.

If you do not have Power Vision access wherever you are then it will be extremely slow to load pages.

How do you tell if your area has PV or not. It shows up on the map that my area does but maybe its not connecting to PV?
Is there a way to see for sure on my treo? also where can I go to get a speedtest.

Just press the phone button and look at the top of the screen - power vision has blue arrows that look like v^ - whereas 1x/regular vision has green arrows that look like <>.
