Inter-carrier SMS Problems lately?

I think I saw this posted somewhere else, I'm not sure.

Has anyone else had any problems sending SMS messages to people on other carriers? It works fine if I send it to another sprint customer, but I've tried sending a text to 2 people on Verizon and 1 on another carrier and they never got my messages. I can get their's, they just don't get mine.

I have a Palm 700wx if it matters.

I've been texting with my daughter recently, who is currently on TMobile (long story), and have had no issues with her receiving mine, and vise-versa. I don't think it is necessarily related to phone, but I'm using a Treo 700p.

Yesterday I was texting from T-Mobile to Sprint phones and nothing was going through. I wasn't sure what happened, but at about 1am this morning two of the Sprint phones in my apartment started beeping as they had just received the text messages, 2 to 3 hours later. Seems to be working fine this morning.

This always happens periodically with every carrier... depending on network congestion or outages, inter-carrier messages are frequently lost or delayed, only to work perfectly again after a couple days later.

I haven't been able to text someone on Verizon for about a week now, and someone else that has a small local carrier in WY.

There's a thread in the Palm Treo 700wx about this, apparently its a network problem with that specific phone...I don't know how that can be, but that's what they've been told.
