Hey guys. My wifes flip phone has come apart into two pieces. So I am going to have to call Sprint and order a new phone and sign a new contract for it I'm sure. Since I have to call them anyway I was thinking about taking care of any changes to my plan before hand. We live in the 702 area code but are originally from the 309. Many of our family members have poor credit and are on the i wireless pre paid plan that only allows local calls. My question is; Can I get an additional line with a 309 area code so my family can call me as a local call?

Yup, youll just need to let the rep/store rep know that you need a different area code and then you will need to provide and address in that area code so they can pull up area code with its exchanges in the system. This wont effect your billing address at all.
