View Full Version : Worth it to upgrade?
I have a Treo 650 that works for me and I do like it. But, also wanting the latest and greatest....I was wondering if the 700P or 700WX was worth upgrading to? Thanks.

any upgrade is worth it. lol, especially power vision phones, 700p or wx is your choice, but wx is new.

All I have to say is now that I have seen the 700wx, there's no going back. I love mine.

I upgraded from a 650 to a 700P and the powervision/mp camera are well worth it to me!

I have a 650. For what I use it for....the 650 is fine with me. I am itching to get a 700p though. I will never get a wx...I hate WM5.
I really like the EVDO speeds....but I really don't use my 650 to surf the net much. The only thing that I would like to be able to do with my 650 is get the NFL Mobile package through Sprint. Although I do technically have a PV plan, so I should be able to do it. Hmmm. :)
Looks like Im sticking with the 650. $649 for a phone is not worth it to me.

Are you still in contract? If so how long do you have left? Retentions may be able to assist you if you really want to upgrade. I called them about a month ago and they were going to give me $200 off the 700p on a line that is only 2 months old (but I have been a Sprint customer for over 4 years). But I still could not justify spending $449 on a phone. Actually, it would have been more like $229 or so after I sold my 650. Buy anyway, if you have been a customer for a while they may help you even more.

Those were the reasons I made the switch!
I ended up getting $150 off the phone plus the $100 mail in rebate from retentions. They said I should have my 700wx in 3-5 business days!! Sweet!!! :headbang2

I have the 700wx, had it for three days and exchanged for a 700p
the screen is so cramped. when you go to settings you have to scroll to see anything, its like puttin a card in a cardboard box

I just came from the Sprint store about an hour ago. I have until May 07 to qualify for the $150. But, the Sprint babe said I could change plans (save $10), "add a phone" (add $10) and get the phone for the same deal, $150 off plus the $100 rebate. My phone bill would be the same amount, the updated plan would be the same but I would have two cell phones, with mobile to mobile between them.
And the $650 Treo700p would cost me $400.
Now, ain't that a trip!!!
