Hello,

I'm on my second 8400 now, had to exchange the first one due to the bad camera, and now that is only slightly better, but I also seem to be having difficulty in staying on the power vision network. I have between 3-5 bars of service, and all I get is regular vision service. It starts with 5 bars when I open the phone, shows 1-2 sec. of activity on Power Vision, then drops to one bar, switches to regular Vision, then up to 3 or 4 bars of service. When I then try to access any Power Vision content, either media player, or Opera Mini, it stays on regular Vision. My wife's Fusic, which is sitting right next to my 8400, is on Power Vision with 2-3 bars of service, and it is noticeably faster. I would think with 3-5 bars of service I should have no trouble getting Power Vision on the 8400, is that just a dream? Am I expecting too much? I don't recall the first 8400 having problems getting on Power Vision, but I really didn't have it too long, so maybe I didn't notice it.

I'm probably going to exchange this phone next weekend, to again try and correct the camera problem, and also figure out the Power Vision mess. In the meantime, is there anything I can do to the 8400 to help it get back on Power Vision? Settings messed up etc?

Thanks for any help,
golfdogger.

my PV is fine.call the tech support line for PV but first make sure its not a judgement issue regarding weak/strong signal.
