ok so ive seen it in stores but the display is an ugly grey color can this be changed??? also has anyone figured out a way to download your own music to it???

The katanas come in other colors besides grey.

Thanks i meant the display menu its a very plain and greyish looking theme is this like the other sanyos where you can set it up to a certain color?

.qcp huh wow guess im spoiled with my fusic :lol: im just lost with all the pink from the katana :p i just need to know that i will be able to convert my mp3's to .qcp and i think ill be ok

awww so is it all all similar to the 8200 thats the only thing i currently have to compare it to, i know the 8200 you cant download any time of files but there are online sites you can download music from. Wow well since you have one how are you liking it im giving myself till Monday to decide. This would be for my second line which currently has the 8200 which my son is using im tired of my fusic so i was going to give him that and take whatever new phone i can get.

the katana is nice. it's very similar to the 8200. since it doesn't have a lot of features i like to activate it once in a while for the look :cool: I'd never buy it tho....

I used to d/l ringers to my 8200 all the time... ?

Either way, I love my Katana phone... does just what I need. If you're REALLY into multimedia, a phone just can't cut it.

are there ways to dl qcp ringtones, from your computer or whatever.....to your phone without vision....I had my free month of vision run out and I cannot get it any more...trying to save money. I like my katana too but I would like some fun ringtones, even if they do sound like they are from some midi keyboard. Plus, if anyone has been playing around with them making them louder....that would be cool too....I am just a poor teacher... :) with my first baby on the way....could always use cool new things to keep me going....long nights ahead ....very long nights.

The gray menu's can't be changed, you're right. They could on the 8200 to green, orange, etc. Not the katana.

It's a good, basic phone. I love mine. That's not to say that it doesn't have it's flaws, but I knew what 'type' phone it was before I got it. I've got a zen vision for my 'media', so I didn't need a phone to do it at this time.
