powervision on my A900 was not working properly so i took the phone into a sprint store. When I picked it up 1 hr later, connecting to the internet was not a problem, but now it only connects 3G and not powervision (I can tell because of icons at top of page, plus speed difference is notable). I immediately brought this up w/ tech rep, but he said everything was working as it should. Went back to work and called Sprint CS and they acknowledged internet should be connecting on PV, but they were unable to correct the problem. Does anyone have any idea how to get PV (as opposed to 1X) back up and running??

Power vision is the 3g internet.
And the phone automatically switches to power vision instead of the regular vision if its available.

yep...but whereas before it was in powervision 99% of the time, now it's on regular vision 100% of the time. My brother-in-law's A900 side by side with my A900 and his is on powervision while mine is on regular vision..this was never the case before =(

Have you tried going into the service menu
Settings -> Display ->hit 0->040793 (MSL for A900M) then check HRD/1X Selection and make sure its hybrid and not set to CDMA only

yep...i tried that and it is set to Hybrid mode. I then called Sprint again and was transferred to level 2 tech support. They feel it is a device/hardware issue. They suggested I send it to Samsung to get repair/replacement under warranty.
