Picture Mail Problem

I have a Fusic and i can get picture mail from sprint users fine, but when I get a picture message from someone on a service other than sprint (Verizon and Tmobile have been tested) I can not get the mesage. My phone reboots, and then I can't make a call for ~5 minutes because a data call is still in session. I talked to "apollo" at sprint, and he said that I needed to get the phone reflashed, which is something I would rather not do. I was wondering, has anyone had this problem? Know of any fix? Think flashing the firmware will actually work (I don't think it would, as I don't think the problem is with my phone). Thanks in advance.

i just tried to receive picture mail from a verizon user yesterday, and it happened to me. everytime i try to view the picture, the phone reboots. i seriously think sprint needs to fix this problem.

I can get picture from VZW user on my 8200. do you think it might be a phone problem.

It does indeed sound lke a software prob and if the update is meant to fix that prob specifically I'd do it. I have a fusic and did the ota update and havent had any probs.
