Walked into a completely empty (yes, I was shocked too) Sprint store this past Tuesday and walked out 10 minutes later with a working 8400. (Traded up from my 7400)

So far, I think this phone rocks. I love the higher screen rez and now I'm just waiting for the 1Gb SD card that should be arriving any time now to really load it up. :)

I still love this phone too.. I am deciding on a 1 gig or a 2 gig card I need to get one here soon.. How many MP3's does a 1 gig hold? That is probably all I will be using it for and I can switch songs around every so often.. Just to have enough songs on there when I go to the gym or to listen some at work. It's so much better then bringing my MP3 player (Dell DJ) with me all the time..

Got my brand new blue scp-8400 yesterday. (also bought 2 fusics) Nice. I'd love to say I love it but, well okay I love it...except for the camera. the camera bites. I like the animations...the aquarium, dino, and penguin...very nice little touch. the revamped buddy is also cool. I've been watching a polar bear for two years so I was ready for anything. Well I may post more in another thread on it.

My plan is to (not have a sucky camera) try to get another one in a couple of weeks and maybe...just maybe...I can time things just right and trade it up for a Sanyo M-1 in december.

but if they actually give me an 8400 that's decent, i'll be content.

Yes it takes AAC ringtones which is a must have for me after having the 8300.. I would of bought a pink Katana if it had the AAC but it didn't. I love Sanyo and the 8400 holds lots more of those AAC then my 8300 did. It held like 12 or 13 and on my 8300 I have like 35-40 so far. The 8400 is a great phone. People complain that the camera isn't so good but I didn't buy it to use as a camera so I am ok with that. I have a small digital camera.. I only take people's pictures with it to use as picture id.. Get it and enjoy your phone!! Rose

I just got the 8400 a week ago... I was going to pick the KRZR over this, I'm so glad I didn't! I absolutely LOVE the phone's battery life. Sanyo's reliable UI, this phone is awesome. Only thing I don't really like are the pics that it takes. Does anyone have any tips? I got the black 8400 btw. :bang:

Had mine, Black, for 3 weeks now. Bluetooth with the car works, the camera is nice and the web access is sick. I love this thing!

One thing I want tho. How do I set it up so that my Ipaq PDA can bluetooth hook to the phone and then surf the web?

Got mine in Boston about a month and a half ago (thought I'd answer the roll call now) after my 7300 conked out on me. I love this phone! I wasn't gonna consider putting any music on the SD card since I have a PSP with a 1GB card in it, but I might invest in a 2 GB card for the phone to consolidate. Do you guys think it's worth it?
