It's almost been about 2 yrs w/ sprint want a good deal

I have been with Sprint for about 2 yrs and was thinking of staying if I can get a new deal and get a good phone like the katana.

I basically just use the phone for talking and perhaps messaging. What is the best way to get the best deal and how to negotiate and what to ask for? Do I go to a Sprint Store or a Radio Shack? What types of deals would they most likely give to someone who has been a customer for 2 yrs and paid all bills on time? What should I ask for and who should I ask for when I talk to someone at the store?

You'll get the new customer pricing on a phone (excluding anything that requires mail-in incentives or 'instant rebates' or anything like that - basically $150 off the non-contract price of a phone.) You can do it at either Sprint stores or RS, and you don't need to ask for anything special, assuming you've kept the phone you currently have the whole time. You'll also have to re-sign a 2 year contract.

Or, you can call retentions and see what they have to offer.

how woudl I got about calling retentions? do you think I'd get a better deal by going directly to the store or by calling htem up?
