I am considering getting the black berry 8703, but im tempted to wait until the q or samsung qwerty phones come out. I had a few different questions though.
Does the Blackberry support downloads from the Sprint Store? ie...games, some applications, ringtons, images, etc.
Can I use the push email technology with just a pop3 email account, or does it only work if my work email supports the blackberry client.....
Is it possible to tether the phone to my computer as a modem without having a seperate data plan??
Do I have to buy a seperate data plan?? I have free unlimited powervision, and free unlimited downloads.......will everything stay the same???
How big is it compared to other blackberry's, I had a 7290 for work a while back for a short time.....
Thanks to anyone that can help........

Here's some help on the Blackberry 8703, it should support downloads from the Sprint Store just fine, you can set up the blackberry to get your pop3 email or create a new blackberry email account, an enterprise server is not necessary to get emails to the device. Depending on Sprint are your answers for the next two questions, the 8703e (which is the version that Verizon sells) can be used as a tethered modem, that will probably be a decision that sprint will have to make on whether to enable that feature on their device, I will say this though, Sprint allows the current blackberries that they sell to be used phone as modem, so one would presume that they'd follow in that direction. As far as a data plan add-on being required, Sprint currently requires a data plan be added, I would assume they'll follow this thinking on this device as well, unlimited blackberry data pack around $40 per month, and that's on top of your phone service plan.
The size of the device is very comparable to the 7290 you had may be just a bit taller and wider, but not by much.
Hope this helps...
