When I upgraded to EVDO and lost $5 unlimited text messaging, I called CS from the Sprint store and received 20% off my entire bill to offset the loss. Just remember to be kind to the rep, because they don't have to accomodate the request.

There wasn't a "code" for the $5 text plan with EVDO, but the 20% off my bill works out better in the end.

I recently got an evdo phone and what happens is that the data information gets cancelled (i assume automatically) so i happened to check my bill ONLINE and noticed it was gone... i called and csr apologized for not having it reinstated... but i still have my unlimited txt for $5

it is possible, i had $5 unlimited text and have a pv phone, reps will tell you anything, i was told that i couldn't have 500 free texts with my plan but after several attempts i finally have it :)

oh one more thing... u have to get it fixed before your next billing statement.... or else it wouldn't be possible for the csr's to remove the error (so im told)

I lost my $5/mo unlimited text just because some Business rep decided that he didn't understand the code! W-T-F??? Ya, true!
But I ended up getting 15% off my line of service in the end.
