Email ecare and tell them you'd like to know if you qualify for the 8 dollar unlimited texting promotion. If you do, you'd like to switch your 500 texting package to it.

That will be 50 SU's please. :)

Is it 8 dollars off, or 8 dollars total?

$8 off, makes it $7 total.

and i didnt even use your method,

Question: Hello, i have a question on my text plan, as you can see on my account, i have 500 txt a month with a credit each month to make it free... is there anyway i can keep the credit but switch to unlimited txt, making it so unlimited text only cost me $7 a month (i know it cost $15, but with the credit it would only $7) if you can make unlimited text messaging a month only cost $7 on my plan, please do so, if you can make it less, than great!!

Thank you for contacting Sprint together with Nextel. I will be happy to resolve your concern about the Text Messaging option.

I have replaced the existing 500 Text Messaging option with the Unlimited option.

This will cost you $7.00 only as you will continue to receive a credit of $8.00 against the charge of $15.00 for the above option.

This change is effective today, September 12, 2006.

We are committed to resolve your issues. Thank you for contacting us, and we look forward to serving you.

Awesome! It's nice to see that ecare is still working.

I use ecare all the time now. I hate calling customer service.

yeah, i had like 10 text til i got to my 500 limit, so i needed to switch kinda fast, but i thought, nah, ecare will actually do it, and i can just not respond to text and theyll stop texting... i had 1 in plan text left when they switched it lol.
