I cant understand why people feel they should get add ons for free just because, does your phone, electric , cable provider give you freebies just because you had them for 5 or even 10 years.

I wonder..........if customer's use that logic, than can Sprint use that logic? Say you just resigned for 2 years. You have no complaint notes in your account, you like the service, features, phones, price, you're overall satisfied. Can Sprint say "Hey, we've been a loyal provider to you for the last 4 years. I think you need to do something for us to continue providing this great service. Next month you pay us double. Thanks for enjoying it so much". It's the same logic only in reverse. And while you'll say, customers can go elsewhere, customers come in from elsewhere too.

Why is it that its always Sprint customers?
VZW, Cing dont give away freebies the way sprint does to try and keep the customers. Funny thing is there churn rates are also lower as well.

Is a matter of fact my entire family and all friends got VZW and they cant call and act the way sprint customers do, they threaten to cancel they may try and save you but if not well bye bye.

So sprint gives away the farm customers still leave, its a business and so what you havent had any complaints, sprint is actually giving there customers (most of them near or out of contract) up to 100 on there bills, can we say desperation to get customers to sign a new contract and be locked in for another 2 years.

They just need to re-vamp their policies about everything.

Sprint just needs a new advertising agency and a new image. No one will every mistake Verizon for someone else. After the "can you hear me now" and the new flashy "it's the network" ads, Verizon has ingrained in consumer's minds that they are the carrier of choice if you care about good call quality and the network. Cingular has focused their ads more on the handsets they have, which could be well considered by far the most innovative handsets out there. What is Sprint known for? There is no defined brand image at all. I think this new war with Cingular, finally picking a target and agressively attacking their claims, is a start in the proper direction. Make Sprint known for something and yell it at the top of their lungs.

Sprint needs to take over the marketing they turned over to the Nextel side.

Bring back Brian Baker and then make a jab at the other carriers like before. I think Sprint's new customer/ remaining customer was higher in those days...because of him.
