Treo 750v is almost here!

A friend of mine works for sprint and has seen this phone be tested....it's basically like the 700wx but has not attena! and mini sd card inserted on the side...and the whole phone is a bit thinner.

I think I like the antenna on my WX, also... for wi-fi I think it's better SD than mini-SD. I personally have not seen an SDIO mini-SD wi-fi card, I'm pretty sure they are out there... but for some reason I really, really like my WX :d

Newsflash....the 750 (aka "lennon") is a GSM phone and is NOT coming to Sprint. It has a smaller battery (1200), is thinner and a mini-SD card slot (no wifi), otherwise it's the same.

You'll never see it on sprint though. It's being released next week on Vodaphone and will probably come to Cingular soon.

ok, I'll leave room for exceptions, but it sure seems odd that they'd release basically they same phone that the released last week.

yeah...they were testing the 700w last year and it took a while to release...there's always ahead...they just don't release till it's ready to go...something in that version might come next year....summer? maybe not...

sprint needs to take a page from vodaphones book with the free weekend sms :):) but then again i prolly would still need my unlimited texting, seeing as how last month i was at 2672. :)

this is a gsm version my friend. if you look out every where on the net for 750v its a gsm version

its been covered now for awhile that the 750 will be a cigular and gsm phone. not sprint, this phone will never see sprint plain and simple.

For what it's worth, that link says the release date is October 2nd.
