Howdy all,

I'll admit to be very confused on what is required and what the changes are in the Vision/data plans and fees...

What I have right now: Two 650's on a retention shared Vision plan, costing $20/month for both. My wife and I mainly use them for email access and GoodLink access on my wife's 650. We sometimes use picturemail, and I do some (slow) surfing on it.

What is required if I upgrade one to the 700p and one to the 700wx?.. We'll still need the GoodLink access, and I want to be able to use them occasionaly as a modem (at least one of them), and I want the EVDO. But, we don't really need or want the other content services that Sprint offers (TV, radio, etc). We just need the faster data network and the occasional modem usage.

What is that going to cost me?... any different if I forgo the modem usage but jsut get the high-speed data?...

Thanks!!!

I believe they told the the Evdo for the primary line was around 25 bucks and 7 for the secondary. I have the 6700 and i know we have Goodlink.

I think you might want to stay with what you have, but if you want to pay more then be my guest.

The most basic PV plan is $15 per month, which is good for the 6700 as it doesnt get any Sprint TV or picturemail(there is a hack for that). And now the second phone if PV would be the same price. Unless you can get someone to give you half off for the second phone or a $10 credit per month for either phone. Although I have never used it, the 6700 is supposed to be able to be used as a modem without any other charges. But remember I have never used it in that capacity, so search the threads on it. And yes that is EVDO access of you have the PV plan.
