not unless you get a free power vision pack. if you have an unlimited powervision pack u can use it as a pam which is normally 15 dollars but if u can get a free power vision pack. then yes u could use your 6700 as a pam for free. other than that i dont know of any other way.

Yeah sure.. Go right ahead and use your pv plan for pam. Just don't be shocked when you see something called wireless web minutes showing on your usage data and you get a nice bill at something like .02/kB. I think the casual data usage fee has even gone up recently.

actually since the 6700, unlike most other phones, dails #777 to connect to the internet just for regular internet usage. when you use it a pam the sprint billing system can't tell between pam and regular usage. on most phones pam is locked unless you have a pam plan, the 6700 is unlocked for it and includes the software and drivers for it. I use mine for pam all the time no overage for it.
A ppc 6700 with some kind of data plan (vision or powervision. note: there is no difference currently between the 2 plans when it comes to the ppc 6700. If you are paying for "power vision" please trade it for regular vision.)
Is this true???? You can use Powervision OR Regular Vision on the PPC 6700 and still get evdo????

no you cant activate a 6700 with a regular vision plan on the line of service sprints billing system wont allow it. besides it wouldn't give you the ability to use evdo. the coding in the plan wouldn't allow it. at least not that i know of, but trust me i would know.

they probably changed it and didn't tell you because the pricing is the same price for the regular vision picture mail pack which is 7.50 on a shared line.

With Picture Mail $20, $10 2nd line
Vision With Picture Mail - $15, $7.5 2nd line
Still getting EVDO speeds, get pic and video mail, and it says on my plan Sprint PCS Vision Pack
