I'm about 20 months into my contract, and I'd like to get the 700wx as my 3rd phone on my account, but I'm looking to get the $150-$250 off the price as Im about due for the 150 discount, and I see people getting these things for $299.

I'm also looking to get a bit of a retention plan along with my next contract.. so I'm trying to figure out the best way to juggle all this.

I'm currently at:
Main line:
-800 Anytime, nationwide: $70.00
-Unl N/W @ 9pm
-Free PCS-to-PCS
-PowerVision Access Pack: $15.00
-100 SMS: $5
2nd Phone:
-500 SMS: $8
-PowerVision Access Pack: $15.00
5% Credit Union Discount
TOTAL: $113.00
Been with Sprint 7 years.

I'm looking to get a similar plan that I saw someone else get:

-1200 minutes Shared for $60
-unlimited N&W- Nights starting @ 7pm for all 3 phones
-500 Texts for each phone free
-Power Vision for each phone for $10/each
-10% loyalty
-5% credit union
-50 min off-network Roaming.
TOTAL: $80
Plus the $150-$250 discount on the Treo700wx

Any thoughts on what to say to finagle both ?

Tell them the plan you want.... the one you posted.

Then ask about the phone. If they don't offer a good price on the phone, thank them for the offer, and say "no".

Sweeet! I emailed Customer care and got what I wanted because of my long term relationship (7 years) with sprint. But at no point did the guy say anything about needing a new 2 yr contract.. so that may be beneficial!

In your other post, the ecare rep says he can give you the new plan with a new 2 year agreement.

When I got my WX thru retentions, when I first called I called to get the phones. When I activated I called back to change my plans since I was still dealing with retentions and still could cxl my account...

I was told that anytime you change your plan after the 3 month "right plan" period, it will renew your contract. Even if you sign up for something that gives them a lot more money, it sitll sets you to a new 2 year contract.
