i look at my phone to look at the time and i see that my outer lcd is cracked. i won this a900 but i am still very upset because other than this i kept it in good condition. i dont even remember when i dropped it, i remember last night i did but dont recall noticing anything broken until today.
my question is, what are my option/solutions?
i dont have insurance but maybe warranty? i doubt warranty will work but the damage looks internal (theres no scratches on the outside, just a crack on the inside)
can i replace it and how much will it cost...

wow i just pulled up a search for this and see a lot more people with the same problem and they dont remember dropping their phone... maybe this is a problem with the phone itself and should be covered under warranty? hmmmmmm

Manufacture warranties do not cover "physical abuse". Take your phone to a corporate repair store near you and they can replace the phone for $55. That is if there is no sign of liquid damage inside the phone. After you pay the $55, you can add the $3/mo Equipment Service and Repair Program and be covered for something like that in the future. I've had TEP on all my phones for 3 years and haven't had to use it once on any of them. Just nice knowing that it is there incase something happens.
