View Full Version : Upgrading SERO plan

Currently I have the $30 500 AT sero plan on my account. I want to upgrade to the $49.95 1250 AT plan. I have called customer service twice and they refuse to upgrade my SERO plan, and only want to sell me a standard fair and flexible plan, which is way more expensive $60 for 1000 AT. They claim inphonic handles all the SERO plans, and they ONLY do NEW lines. The guy said he had no idea how I got SERO in the first place since I've been a customer for over 5 years now.

Has ANYONE had success upgrading their sero plan to more minutes? If so, what number did you call because these *2 people are driving me CRAZY.

Thanks!
Dan

With that alone, I would be very careful. Don't push your luck, and get a note in your accout with a heads up.

About a month & a half into my SERO 500 plan, I emailed ecare to upgrade to the SERO 1250 plan. They did it on my 1st email, no problem. I was told that if one does it within 3 monthes then one doesn't need to sign a new contract.

However, I was also a new to Sprint customer.

Hey Dan. You can if you are still within 90 Days of your contract. I upgraded my SERO plan after my first month. Forget *2! Email E-care, they would be more than happy to help you. Here is a copy of my email that I received from Ecare below.

"Yes, you can change to a higher or lower SERO Plan as per your
requirements. However, with the plan change, the system will renew the
contract, if the "Right Plan Promise" period is over. The duration of
this period is 90 days from the account establishment date.

Since, the contract was renewed as of June 27, 2006, the system didn't
renew the contract when the plan was changed to 500 minutes SERO plan.

Thank you for contacting Sprint, we were happy to assist you. Please
feel free to write back if you have any other questions. Have a great
day!

$50-$30=$20
1250-500=750 minutes

$20/750min = $0.027/min.

Slight advantage here unless (s)he only expects to use about 700 minutes per month :scare:
