i think they should suckular, tmoble and verizon have it set.
have u ever noticed that the logos are always different colors? like the title is sometimes white or black? or the graphic is some times yellow or black?
i think the word "sprint should always be white, the graphic always yellow, with a black back gound
the old logo used to always be black, with the graphic always red!

actually, even the old logo had several variations as well. grey was a popular alternative on the old logo as well as white.

Do you mean like on a sanyo 9000 how the word sprint is black and the logo is yellow and on the a920 the word sprint is white and a yellow logo.

personally, i like the old sprint logo & website, service brochure, ect. they just seem more user friendly and welcoming instead of this nextel yellow thats just like BAM. DONE.
but then again, i liked it when they had all the silver sanyo phones too, and the $5 vision packs that had text messaging and download credit
btw-the old sprint logo was variated too. alot of times it was just white background with black SPRINT and red logo. i think the black background was a few years before

yes or the samsung a640 all white on the outside but white name yellow graphic on the inside. like verizon same logo on EVERYTHING
i think they should go white name yellow graphic on everything
Yeah, but you have to consider the new white phones like the Katana and future 8400. The white Katana has the word in black and the black Katana has the word in white. Otherwise you could not see the word.

The multiple color combos are common for every company.
If you look at Verizon's phones, some phones have the Verizon logo with white lettering plus a red Z, and others have black lettering plus a red Z.
If you look at T-Mobile's phones, some have a pink T with a grey Mobile, and some have a white T-Mobile.
It's all based on whatever works with the phone color. Obviously, white lettering wouldn't look too great on a white phone, so they choose black lettering.
The color combos are common everywhere. If you'll take a look at universities, they've got all different kinds of combinations. Let's take UT for an example. I've got two orange UT shirts. One has white lettering and a white logo, the other with black logo and lettering. Then, if you go to the store, they have black with orange, black with white, black with white and orange, orange with white, orange with black, orange with white and black, white with orange, white with black, white with both, and they've even got combos with grey in them.

One thing i can say i dont like how big and plastered the Verizon logo is on their phones, I mean they make sure you know its a VZW phone. they put it on the front back inside screen banner, and its large they really want to you to know its a VZW phone.
I noticed that with the new logo, Sprint has slimmed it down alot you almost cant tell i'm using a Sprint unless to looking up close and Sprint only put their lable on the front and inside. Changable banners Are nice

Cingular also varies there colors also, sometimes there's an all white logo or an orange and black one, i thought for sure they'd use the orange and blue one.

i guess its good that sprint retired its red color because thats the same as verizon. yellow may be the way to go, but c'mon cant they come up with something better than that beating attention grabbing yellow?

I liked the old logo - and I like the new yellow one too. The yellow reflects the Nextel merger. And, my keys light up yellow as well. It works for me.
I find more important things to worry about than logo colors. I want to see more bars! :)
