MODS - please allow this thread to remain open - read below.

So I went to sprint.com/SERO to see if I'm in an affiliate market or if I can get SERO. I entered the e-mail address of an old friend at Sprint and my zipcode - I was forwarded to a page showing available plans - but the five listed were nothing like SERO plans that have been discussed here.

They are as follows:

F&F 900 min @ $59.99
F&F 1350 min @ $79.99
F&F shared 700 min @ $69.99
F&F shared 1400 min @ $89.99
F&F shared 2100 min @ $109.99

All plans have unlimited N&W @ 7pm, but nothing else free (vision, power vision, SMS...). You could add M2M, vision/power vison and the like at the order screen, but they were at retail prices. Another thing of interest were the phones - no available rebates - every phone was listed for striaght retail prices.

Those five plans are currently available plans for anyone getting new Sprint service - but hardly a deal as there were no rebates on phones. Anyone have any idea what's going on? Or am I totally missing something that's painfully obvious?

You're in an affliate market.

Everything comes up for me along with at least 5 phones offered for free.

jumonjii:

Have you ever seen a list of the regions (cities) that offer Sero in its fully implemented form?

Also would it be the same as area's offering Vision?

Power Vision?

So your showing SERO plans in your signature - how did you get those (assuming you're in the same affiliate market I'm in)?

AudiYoda-

I am in Waterford Mich. Being that SERO and Power Vision is/was available when I renewed, I'm gussing that the IPCS area doesn't reach this far and I am in the Sprint PCS corporate network.

It's funny, I've been with Sprint for I don't know how long - five years maybe. Until this month, I had always thought I was a Sprint customer.

I've got a question/issue that maybe can't be addressed, when you got to Sprint.com and look to activate new service, upon entering my zipcode (49507) I'm told plans/phones are available yada yada yada. Going through the motions of making a purchase, there's no mention of iPCS - not even in the user agreement that must be agreed upon before actually purchasing service. Legally, wouldn't Sprint be obligated to make subscribers aware that iPCS is the actual network provider while Sprint is the service provider?

Thanks jumonjii, previously I went into the Sprint store and they looked at a street map of sorts on the puter or called CS with my zip code.

I like the web site.

SprintUsers.com was created in January 2002 as a resource for users of Sprint PCS products and services to learn about and share information. We have cll phone reviews, Cellular Accessories, Downloads, PDA reviews, Ringtones, all of the latest Sprint PCS news and information, an area where you can find help in creating a ring tone or custom image for you phone, and so much more. The most popular section is the message board where visitors can read and write messages, ask questions, and get advice about their cellular phone from other users.
