When I transfer an image to the transflash card and and set it as the screensaver the phone clips the image terribly. When I view the image in my album it is not clipped. I am resizing the image to 220hx176w. Is there a setting I am forgeting or not doing?

yeah. set your camera from portrait to landscape or vice versa. just go to settings under camera.
