This is A LOT more difficult than it sounds. The only way it will work, really, is if your original file is properly encoded. I had a whole seasons of shows some moron didn't convert correctly and now I can't do squat with them because of the weird ratios he/she used.
So, long story short, your answer is TMPGEnc, unless you want to battle with the monster also known as Adobe Premiere Pro. In TMPGEnc, under the Advanced video settings, you have to set the ratio to 1:1 and then select No Margin under the video arrange method. There are a few how-to's online for this, but it's really trial and error. If NONE of the settings work, it pretty much means your source file was encoded all wrong and you can't do squat with it. Very frustrating.

Ok, I tried that program, and like always, it didnt work unless you buy the full program and it is expensive, so I did a search on the web, and found VIDEORA IPOD CONVERTER, theres a free version so I tried it but I must say I wasn't expecting any results, anyway, it takes about 1and a half hour to convert a 700mb videoclip to mpg4 and then I had to use the 3gp converter but guess what, IT WORKS, so there you go, I hope it works for you, as it worked for me. :headbang2 :music: :headbang2 :music: :violin: :driving: :dog1: :werd: :wow: :circle:
