I need some help with figuring out a PDA phone to get. First let me tell you what I want to do with it: pretty much just sync it with my Outlook Calendar. I don't need to use it as an impromptu wifi card, don't really need it to view emails and attachments ( although I'm sure I will, but it isn't a priority! ). Really I just need to be able to sync the calendar to my Outlook so when I am wandering from meeting to meeting all day long and far away from my PC or laptop I will still have access to my schedule, know where I need to be next, and know when I will be free in the future.

As such, I don't think I really need any of these super fancy PDA or BB phones currently offered by Sprint. Also, I am about 1 year into a 2 year Sprint plan ( phone 1 yr old, too) so am not eligible for any discounts at this time.

Are there maybe older Sprint phones that would work for what I need? Perhaps someone can help me by suggesting a not-so-new model that would do what I need that I can search for on EBay or the "for sale" portion of this site, and hopefully not spend $450-$700 just to be able to sync my calendar...

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer! :wavey:

i always hear people raving about the ppc-6600..

does it matter if its windows or palm based?

Really, I don't think I will care if it is Windows based or Palm based... as long as I can sync with Outlook, I will be happy! I am not sure if it is very prudent to spend $500+ dollars for just a calendar, though... :irked:

Edit:
Anybody have experience with a software called "USB Data Suite: Handset Manager"? It claims to give you the capability of sync-ing your Outlook with a typical, non-PDA handset like my Samsung A840... for $25. Hmmm... :music:

im sure you can find a 6600 in the $200-300 range, and the same can be said for the treo 650..

if you want even cheaper, aim for the treo 600..

for the most bang for your buck, id suggest the treo 650..its not all that old, and still has a lot of great features..and since the new treo 700 came out and a windows version is apparantly coming soon, im sure u can get one for a prett good price..
