matrixm not working

I tried awhile ago to get some tech support from matrixm.com but was never answered. Today when I went to log on the page would not load. Anyone have any ideas as to why?

Didn't even know this place existed. Just did a Google search on it and I see it's a ringtone and other download site of sorts... but I don't know anything about why it's down. I figured I'd at least bump your post for you ;)

when it is up has 1000's of ringers and screen savers as well as games. some of which are free...thanks laur

weird, not working for me either. i've been going there for years... haven't really used it in quite a while though. from what i remember, there's a really nice community in the forums.

Yeah, it was a heck of a site. However...

...I'm not able to get it to load either. Google's cache of the site dates back to July 31, 2006. Their domain is unreachable by pings (their IP is 63.214.59.22), and a tracert breaks in the New York part of Level 3's network (specifically, at 4.68.97.178).

No idea what's up.

Matrixm is obviously no longer in exsistence. When a web site is no longer making $ they can & do, just shut down. It used to be a primarily pay site, then mostly free that there is a sign of trouble. What I want to know is what other ringtone site out there has any similarity. There dead ringers were killer, where else could you find Pinky and the brain quotes for a ringer.

a deadringer is what matrixm.com called their true tone or real ringtones. they were the first site ever to offer them too. it was clever cause a dead ringer means someone who is the spitting image of someone else and the real mp3 or wav tones were the exact real song as opposed to a polyphonic ringtone

matrixm's free ringtones (http://www.matrixm.com/ringtone_genres/Free_ringtones.shtml) are back up again tho. they have a ton of stuff. just checked it out.

I used to use MatrixM also. However i went back there tonight and it is up.. but you can no longer download or send the ringtones to your phone. I think their site is not functioning properly.

After some research- I found www.Jamster.com www.Mixxer.com and www.RingtoneJukebox.com Although the first 2 are monthly subscriptions and they limit your downloads (that sucks) and the third is 2.99 per. Have not found sites where you can get credits like Matrixm. I haven't used these sites as I think I'm gonna get the one of the new Katanas when they come out. Let me know if someone tries it.

Went again to the site and it only partially loads. You get the ring tone list but you can't open any of them. I still had $ on the site so I guess it is now lost.
