I have been trying to use my Garmin the last couple of days, and even deleted it and re-loaded it, but it keeps telling me 'No GPS reception'. I have checked to make sure I have the GPS on on my phone, so I am at a loss. Am I missing something? Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
BTW, I am using Garmin on another phone of mine, a 7400 on another line I have. Thanks.

have you enabled web access and GPS in the program itself before you boot it? I had that issue as well with the new Garmin and this solved my problem...

I checked and the Network Access is set to 'Always Allow', and GPS Access is set to 'Ask', so I guess that's not my problem. Ammit. lol

I tried Garmin on my MM-7500 today (I have a subscription) on the drive home from work. It said acquiring satellites for a long time, but never did work. I had to turn the phone off and back on and I also plugged in the car charger, then it started to work, but frequently lost the signal from the satellites. I also noticed when it was working it was about 1/2 mile off. At one intersection, as I was about 200 feet from my left turn, it said it was 0.4 miles ahead, and this was while it had contact with the satellites.
Usually, Garmin works flawlessly. I can close the phone up and throw it on the passenger seat and let it talk as I drive. But today it was having some serious problems.
I just walked outside and tried it again. It acquired the satellites and seems to be working normally now. I'll try it again on my drive to work tomorrow morning.

I have Garmin 3.3 on my A900, and I've heard it's not a true GPS enabled phone. Does anyone know if it's supposed to work with it. Oh, it's the RP version, so that might be it also.
Thanks ahead of time,
JBell

According to Garmin, it wont... according to me (I have an A900) it wont. According to a few forum members who cant validate their claims, it will & according to rumor, it will. Rumor really isnt very reliable nor is unsupported claim

Actually, the A900 officially doesn't support GPS tracking. It will locate you, but not track you. At least it's not supposed to. This is why Sprint doesn't release GPS apps for the A900.
