View Full Version : Need Help On Decision About Power Vision

Okay, I got retentions to give me free Vision last month, but this month, I changed it to $12.50 Ultimate Pack for Power Vision. I figured my plan price is pretty low, so I can try it out for a month or two and then just get rid of it if I don't like it. Anyway, so I wanted to watch some TV, but I'm really confused. There are the channels at the top of the lists, but then theres another section of the list that says Available Channels, and it prompts me to pay for the channels if I want them. I figured with the Ultimate Pack, everything was included, so why should I pay for them? I don't want to watch little clips of shows, I want to watch whole shows. Can anyone clarify if this Available Channels list is actually already paid for in my plan, or if it's something I have to pay even more for. If it is, I'm going to give retentions another call and go back to free basic Vision, or even just basic Power Vision. Other than TV, all I do is browse the web when I'm bored and upload ringers and stuff like that. If I can't enjoy the TV, I don't really want to pay for it.

I believe the channel for the ultimate pack is channel 50, so if you go to the channel with the package that you are on, it will have the channels that are available to you through your package inside that channel. I just verified it and it is channel 50. So just go to channel 50 and you should have all the channels that are included in the ultimate pack available to you from there. Somebody explained it much better than me in another thread, but I did my best. :)

Okay, well if only the things in Channel 50 are included, I think I'm going back to regular Vision or basic Power Vision.

Basically, the only way you're going to get WHOLE shows is to subscribe to Sprint TV Live. Everything else is clips.

I called CS and after 2+ hours they agree it is misleading about what you get and retention gave me credit for the ultiamate pack and $10 a month to buy chanells.

Hmm...well, I'm going to give retentions a call tomorrow to see what can be done. Right now, it seems like even if I were to go to basic PV and then get Sprint Live TV on top of that, I'd be saving money, and if retentions will give me back my free Vision, that would be awesome. Even if they can't give me the TV, I'm probably still going to go back to a more basic data plan, since there's no point in watching only clips.
