I would say call customer service, but that doesn't help much. So go your nearest sprint store. I they can't fix it and try to give you a downgraded phone as a replacement, (if you have insurance) leave immediately and call lockline and if you are lucky enough to talk to the right person you will get a upgrade. If no 9000s are avaliable ask for a a920, or a fusic and you might get what you want.

Or this could be a network issue or a problem with On demand. You may just want to give it a few days and see if it keeps happening. I wouldn't jump to conclusions that you phone is defective and needs to be replaced because your on demand is not working correctly.

I installed On Demand on my Katana. I was able to update it and now I have 2 versions on it, the new one and the old one. I just put the link to the new one in my favorites so I only start up one version.

My 9000 put the tv guide in the showbiz box in the bottom middle square.

Whatever you do, don't give up that 9000!! A friend of mine got the update (he has a 9000) a few days ago with no problem, his only comment was some new icons were added. :)

Isn't anyone wondering how Bruce got "On Demand" to install/work on a Non-EVDO/Non-Power Vision phone? :hee:

download the jad/jar to your PC. find the "new on demand update" thread for links to that. Open the jad in a text editor... find the "Content-Folder: Embedded" line. change embedded to Applications. Find the "Content-Lock: yes" line. Change that to No. Now save the jad and send the jad/jar to your phone(i prefer using funformobiles uploader). It should overwrite the previous installation.. it also stores on demand in the application section of your content folder. Now uninstall the program(like u would any game/app).. you should now not have any on demand on your phone at all(go to on demand.. it should not open when u click the icon). Now once again send the jad/jar to your phone.

What Im having you do is uninstalling On Demand from your phone completely(9000 doesnt work on QPST so you cant delete it that way) then do a clean install of on demand. if that doesnt work.. im not sure what will.
